This program aims to provide a global learning experience. One of DePaul’s missions and strategic goals is to help our students become a global citizen. This goal aligns with today’s business environment that relies on a worldwide arrangement. It is inevitable for us to coordinate with colleagues around the world. This is especially true in the field of analytics. Given the unique local backgrounds, requirements and preferences, the practices can be quite different not to mention the global arrangement of data centers and information technology resources. With all these in mind, it is critical for us to understand the cultural differences and how people communicate differently in order to more appropriately present and interpret analytics findings. This will be a great practice of your professional skills for your career. There will be a short reflection towards the end of the quarter for you to talk about your global learning experience.
